The Hudson Valley has long been known for its natural beauty, rich history, and close-knit communities. Yet for many women seeking recovery, stability, and a fresh start, finding a high-quality sober living environment remains a significant challenge.
That is why we are proud to introduce Hudson Valley Collective.
Founded by Patrick Potter, a recovery advocate, entrepreneur, and behavioral health professional with more than three decades of experience in the recovery community, Hudson Valley Collective was created to address a growing need for safe, structured, and supportive sober living opportunities for women throughout the region.
Patrick's journey began in recovery in 1994 and has since evolved into a lifelong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate addiction, mental health challenges, crisis intervention, and long-term recovery. Over the course of his career, he has worked with hundreds of individuals and families across the United States and internationally, witnessing firsthand the critical role that stable housing and community play in sustained recovery.
The reality is simple: there is a significant shortage of quality sober living options serving the tri-county region of Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties. While treatment options may exist, the transition from treatment to independent living remains one of the most vulnerable stages of the recovery process. Too often, women are left with limited housing options that lack structure, accountability, privacy, or meaningful community.
Hudson Valley Collective was designed to be different.
Located on a private estate in the Hudson Valley, the residence offers an exclusive and discreet environment where women can focus on personal growth, stability, and long-term success. Surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquility that make the Hudson Valley unique, residents have the opportunity to step away from chaos and begin building a stronger future in a setting that promotes peace, reflection, and connection.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens through structure, accountability, and community. We are committed to creating an environment where women are supported in developing healthy routines, strengthening life skills, pursuing education and employment opportunities, and building relationships that reinforce long-term recovery.
Hudson Valley Collective is more than a residence. It is a community built around shared values, personal responsibility, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to create a future greater than their past.
As we prepare to welcome our first residents, we look forward to becoming a trusted resource for families, professionals, treatment providers, and women seeking a new beginning throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.
The need has never been greater. The opportunity for change has never been more important.
Welcome to Hudson Valley Collective.
